Striving to help end youth homelessness

Young people experiencing homelessness and housing instability are often hidden. Liberty Mutual’s commitment to support the critical work of eradicating youth homelessness takes many forms, such as funding research, collaborating, providing direct services and convening symposiums.

The organizations with which we work understand the unique needs of young people experiencing homelessness. Nonprofits like Bridge Over Troubled Waters and Y2Y provide shelter and temporary housing for youth, as well as safety and support, in age-appropriate environments. Alongside them are organizations that focus on workforce development, education, and meeting basic needs like food and health care to help young people forge ahead.

Addressing the full spectrum of needs for people facing homelessness

Homelessness affects people of all ages, from infants to senior citizens. Through our philanthropy, we support programs addressing the full continuum of needs, from daycare for children living in shelters to basic services, food, and job training for teens to supportive housing for homeless adults.
